On Deep Ecology Deep Ecology is a perspective in environmental philosophy based in the belief that humans must radically change their relationship to nature from one that values it solely for its usefulness to human beings to one that recognizes that nature has an inherent value. It promotes the inherent worth of all living beings regardless of their instrumental utility to human needs. Deep Ecology is not a scientific discipline rather an eco-philosophy derived from intuitive ethical principles. Learn more.

Calculate / Offset Your Carbon Footprint
If you want to be part of the environmental solution, the first step is to get an accurate picture of your personal carbon emissions. A carbon calculator will take you through all aspects of your greenhouse gas emissions covering areas like energy use, waste, fuel consumption, air travel, food and other sources. Once you know your level of emissions, you can work to reduce your footprint where possible and/or purchase offsets to plant trees and restore natural habitat. Calculate/offset here.
